How the OxyGeneo creates oxygen

OxyGeneo™ capitalizes on the Bohr Effect that was discovered by Christian Bohr in 1904. The effect indicates that when the CO2 (Carbon dioxide) concentration increases, the hemoglobin releases oxygen from within. When the Oxygeneo capsule and the treatment gel combine, it creates an abundance of CO2 on the skin. This triggers the Bohr Effect, oxygenating the skin naturally. What does the OxyGeneo treatment feel like

It is a very relaxing treatment. During the exfoliation segment of the treatment, it can feel a bit scratchy, but not painful. You will also experience a warmth and tingling to your skin as it becomes more oxygenated. The infusion part of the treatment uses ultrasound and feels like a gentle massage of the face and is deeply relaxing. The treatment ends with a massage head that stimulates and invigorates the skin.

What to Expect During an Oxygeneo

A Standard Oxygeneo takes about 30-45 minutes.

Step 1 – Cleansing
Step 2 – The appropriate gel is applied and the handpiece is used to exfoliate and oxygenate the skin, while pushing in the ingredients from the gel.
Step 3 – The gel is removed with warm towels and reapplied.
Step 4 – A gentle massage with Ultrasound is done to push ingredients into the skin further.
Step 5 – A massage head is then used to finish pushing ingredients into the skin and stimulating the skin.
Step 6 – Product is then wiped off and the appropriate serums, lotions and sunscreen are applied.

What Happens After an Oxygeneo

Your skin will feel smooth, healthy and hydrated. Lines and wrinkles will be less noticeable. You can be slightly red to pink for two hours, but makeup can be applied immediately.

How Often Should You Receive an Oxygeneo

Ideally, once every four to six weeks for optimum skin care.
