She is an expert at designing brows, and very quickly and expertly removing hair from all other areas of the body. You can rest assured that when you receive a wax at Infuse, the highest quality of wax is used, your privacy is protected and we have strict sanitation standards. We want to be your choice for waxing in Peoria!

Who can Benefit from Waxing

Anyone with hair on their face or body.  Any kind of hair can be waxed, from course dark hair to vellus hair (peach fuzz). It should not be performed on thin skin or over pustular acne and Accutane users cannot have this service.

How to Prepare for Waxing

brazilian convert

Hair needs to be approximately 1/4 inch.  Do not shave for at least 3 weeks prior to your appointment.

During the week prior to waxing:

  • Do not use agressive scrubs or masks on area to be waxed
  • Discontinue prescription strength Retin A,  and retinols

What Happens After Waxing

The area waxed may be pink to red from 1 to 24 hours.  If you tend to get ingrown hairs, you will want to purchase our Post Waxing Lotion to prevent them.  If you usually get really red or bumpy after a wax, a high frequency treatment can be added to reduce irritation.

How Often Should You Wax

This will range from once every three weeks, to once every six weeks, depending on your hair growth.  The hair has to be about 1/4 inch for a smooth wax, so you need to allow some regrowth time.
